Many of the top tourist attractions in Anacortes are really not suitable for our little guys. Whale watching is just too long on a boat for a 3-year-old, and they aren’t able to go kayaking in the ocean JUST yet. But despite that, we never have a shortage of things to do. Aulani activities are endless. There are tons of family-friendly activities going on all the time all over the resort. We enjoyed seeing the Disney characters (Moana was a favorite!), making leis, listening to the firepit stories, and live music.

Aulani is one of the few resorts in Hawaii that heats its pools. For littles, this is important because they just don’t tolerate the colder water very well. The lazy river was particularly warm, as well as fun and relaxing.
