Many of the top tourist attractions in Anacortes are really not suitable for our little guys. Whale watching is just too long on a boat for a 3-year-old, and they aren’t able to go kayaking in the ocean JUST yet. But despite that, we never have a shortage of things to do. These are our favorite things to do in Anacortes with our 3-year-old twins.
Aulani activities are endless. There are tons of family-friendly activities going on all the time all over the resort. We enjoyed seeing the Disney characters (Moana was a favorite!), making leis, listening to the firepit stories, and live music.
Aulani is one of the few resorts in Hawaii that heats its pools. For littles, this is important because they just don’t tolerate the colder water very well. The lazy river was particularly warm, as well as fun and relaxing.
It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out how to manage the grocery store with two infants. For my little guys, the best set up was to have one in the car sea tat the bottom of the cart and on in the structured baby carrier.
